WhatsApp API pricing: how Threadwire is priced
Threadwire is priced by how many WhatsApp numbers you connect, with no fee per message. This page explains the model: what a plan sets, what no plan changes, and how you pay. The plans and their prices are shown live under Pricing.
How it works
- Choose a plan by the numbers you need. A plan sets how many WhatsApp numbers you may link.
- Link your numbers and send. There is no fee per message.
- Pay for a month, or ahead. You can pay monthly, or ahead for up to a year.
- Carry on, or stop. Nothing is charged automatically.
What a plan sets
- How many numbers you may link. Each number keeps its own daily limits and warm-up.
- Usage limits, on some plans. A plan may also limit messages a day, people messaged a month, API requests a month and number checks a day.
- Which features you get. Plans can differ here, so pricing shows what each plan includes.
Your Billing page shows the usage limits your plan has. Where it has none, only each number's protection limits you. Messages typed on the phone never count.
The AI agent, where your plan includes it, answers with your own Anthropic or OpenAI key. So the AI's cost is on your account with that provider, and Threadwire adds nothing to it.
What no plan changes
- The daily limit on new people. A number may write first to only a limited number of new people each day, and no plan lifts that. Replies to people who wrote to you are not limited this way.
- The sending protection. Every message is paced the way a person would send it. These rules are enforced on every message, on every plan: you can make them stricter, never switch them off.
So a larger plan gives you more numbers, not a higher limit on new people for one number. How Threadwire keeps your number safe has every rule, with its figures.
Paying and cancelling
- How you pay: by InstaPay, mobile wallet or bank transfer, and by card where it is offered.
- After a transfer, press "I've paid" on your Billing page. Your invoice arrives by email once we confirm it.
- Paying ahead: where it costs less, pricing says by how much.
- Cancelling: any time. Nothing is charged automatically, and your service runs to the end of the period you paid for.
Its limits
"No fee per message" does not mean messages without limit. A plan may set usage limits, and each number's protection holds on every plan.
Threadwire links your number as a device; it is not Meta's official API. WhatsApp API without Meta approval says what that means. WhatsApp can restrict or ban a number at any time, and we cannot promise that it will not, on any plan.
Who it suits
This pricing fits when your customers write to you first: bookings, orders, support, and reminders to people already in a chat with you.
It does not fit if you need to write first to many new people a day from one number. No plan buys that. Meta's official API is the route for it: Meta charges for messages you start, and Threadwire does not offer that API today. Official API or a linked number? compares the two.
